Jesus' 100th Anniversary of Kingdom Rulership - ONLY 150 DAYS REMAINING
by Calebs Airplane indear anthony morris the turd.
october 2, 2014 is only 150 days from now.... what bull sh*t are you cooking up to mitigate the expected fallout?.
you might consider shedding "nu-lite" on this continuously recycled quote.... on friday morning, october 2, 1914, charles taze russell, who took the lead at that time among the bible students, strode into the dining room at bethel in brooklyn, new york.

I don't count my time here. I think that would be cheating, and I don't spend enough time here to make it worth counting. Posting here is not a valid form of field service.
Cheating on your time slip is counter-productive. Jehovah knows you're lying, and liars will not inherit God's Kingdom. (Rev 20:8)
Remember Ananias and Sapphira. (Acts 5:1-10)

It will be interesting to see what happens if Jesus doesn't return this year.
The apostates will be rejoicing (they've already started).
The JW's will be crying. I wonder if it will be another '1975' year?

My congregation was thriving a few years ago, but we've gone from 90 publishers to 80, and now have the fewest pioneers in the circuit. Sigh.

CONGREGATION FLEECING RESULTS?

Barrold, whatever we pledge, it is expected of us for a year. After a year, if the congregation is falling short of our pledge, the elders can reduce it. I don't know what will happen if the GB is not happy with our pledge.
It's true that the pledge goes on even after any 'mortgage' has been repaid, but that money will be used to remodel our KH's. We are basically paying for our remodels in advance.

LG, I don't know why we're paying a lesser amount, and I can't ask, because then they'll know that I read the 'unread' pages, and that could get me in big trouble.

$100,000 mortgage cancelled
No lump sum payment (only $5,000 in our account).
$900 a month for local/worldwide KH expenses as opposed to the $1,100 we used to spend.
It looks like we made out better than some.

Relationship with Jehovah?
by Batman89 inwhen you were a devout jw.
did you feel that you had an actual "relationship" with jehovah/god just from praying to him and reading the wt or bible?.
or that this was actually even possible deep down?.

Dis-Member, many people have had personal relationships with God. The Bible is full of them, so it is possible.
As for that 'gooey' feeling, you need to read the book of Psalms, where MEN, especially David, expressed their deep love for God.
